What are OZZIE sunglasses made of?

Ozzies are tough! The ploycarbonate (pc) lenses have the highest impact resistance of any lens material available in sunglasses. Originally developed for the aerospace industry, pc windows can be found in airliners and space shuttles. You can imagine just how tough pc is, when you find it being used in riot police shields and helmets as well as bullet proof windows! Being so strong, pc lenses can be made very thin, add this to having the lightest specific gravity of any lens, and you'll get a super lightweight lens for maximum wearing comfort. To avoid scratches, we've applied a very tough, scratch resistant coating to both sides of the lens.

OZZIE frames are all 8 base curved, providing a close (but not too close) cranial fit. This construction eliminates the vortex of wind during high speed activites, as well as enhancing peripheral vision.
